John Tomkinson

John Tomkinson, former advertising professional, publisher and talk radio show host, is sought after for his skills in recognizing addiction and providing the encouragement for the addict to seek treatment.  After several attempts to recover from alcoholism, finally at age 52, August 23, 2004 he became sober.  He possesses a unique set of skills, most importantly caring and compassion, the experience of life and the determinations to help others struggling from traumatic experience.
During the past 11 years of sobriety he has furthered his cause on the radio spreading the message of hope and recovery throughout the word.  He has worked tirelessly with those suffering from addiction encouraging them to make the commitment toward their own sobriety.   The results are staggering with the patients that have known him to provide constant encouragement.  His ability to work with people and make a positive contribution is unsurpassed.  He is experienced in all levels of care related to addiction and recovery.  Along the way he has assisted in starting four sober living facilities, served as a court liaison for the Dade County Drug Court, and is responsible for at least 480 addicts entering substance abuse treatment as a result of the Recovery Nations Live Program through the radio talk shows.
John Tomkinson is the person you want at your side when you do not know which way to turn.  He will help guide the addict through the maze of addiction and follow through to the end.
