Cricket Lee moved to Los Angeles in July of 2008, as the lease was up on her apartment and saw no other reason to remain in Idaho. She is a writer for Can I Nail It? at TheStream.tv and has recently started writing gaming op-ed pieces/reviews (GamingAngels.com and GirlGamer.com), and film reviews for Nerdiest-Kids.com. Lee is a diehard 360 girl and her favorite game is Left4Dead.
Two of her three top fangirl moments occurred simultaneously when she was able to make eye contact with Joss Whedon and tell him "You're awesome," and seeing Nathan Fillion at the The Guild/Dr. Horrible screening held Halloween, 2008 in Los Angeles. The other was having a featured extra role in season 2 of the award-winning webseries The Guild (where she met friend and co-host, Jared Hoy) |

The Fine Bros
Last night Crix was joined by guest co-host and friend Jenni Powell, one of the hosts of the popular podcast Knights of The Guild. The ladies were very excited to spend the hour with the very charming and very talented Benny and Rafi Fine, aka The Fine Brothers, currently best known for "Prop 8: The Web Series", the "LOST" parodies, and their new web series "My Profile Story" for Comedy Central/atom.com.
Benny and Rafi gave advice about what makes for a successful web series, the recent "LOST controversy", their two new web series "Prop 8: The Web Series" and "My Profile Story". They also talked to a *ahem* 'fangirl' caller...
These two brothers will be around for a long time, and we couldn't be happier!

Zombies
we were joined in studio by our good friend and awesome cat Chris Gore, founder of FilmThreat.com and DVD Duesday host for G4's Attack of the Show. in his usual fashion, Gore arrived late...but made up for it with awesome stories and we got to meet his date. we talked about zombies, our mutual love of Rock Band (ps. we ARE going for it and we're gonna film it) and what makes a good zombie movie/show.
it was madness...pure madness, I tell you.

being 'The Bad Guy'
Co-host Jared was out sick, so Amra 'Flitz' Ricketts rode shotgun and James 'Kuda' Gilstrap (both from Nerdiest-Kids.com) was the show's first 'fanguest'.
tonight they were joined by actor Ken Lally, best known as The German from "Heroes" and his voiceover/motion capture work in the video game industry, most recently doing motion capture as Albert Wesker for Resident Evil 5.
wild times and a ton of laughs were had as the panel discussed what makes a good villain, misconceptions cleared up, taking a punch, Ken's time on Heroes, being in RE 5 and his fear of zombies, how many accents they could get him to do, and a whole lotta other things under the sun.

one of the most famous "That Guy" character actors and all around awesome dude J.P. Manoux (Phil of the Future, ER, Fruit of the Loom Green Grapes, the robot from Eurotrip) stopped by the studio to talk about his role as Stan the Android on the new Disney XD show, Aaron Stone. We couldn't let him go without talking about his run as The Naked Armenian on "Reno 911", being Not Moby, voiceover work in cartoons and video games, his weird connection with co-host Jared, and the 5 billion commercials he's appeared in. Plus he made Crix blush by giving her a gift as well and for the first time on our show, swag giveaway!
