Angel Garcia is a proud Lampasas, Texas resident and the host of "Angel in the Morning" on 101.9 KACQ, airing weekdays from 6:30–9:00 a.m. With four years in broadcasting, Angel brings energy, authenticity, and a strong connection to the community to every show. While the station features a country blend format, Angel's passion lies in conversation — interviewing touring artists, spotlighting local musicians, and engaging with the people who make Lampasas special. His show blends music, interviews, community discussion, and real-life topics that matter to Central Texas listeners. Angel and his wife, Sindi, moved to Lampasas nine years ago and have proudly made it their home. His deep local roots and commitment to the community shape everything he does on-air. Beyond the microphone, Angel has been involved in baseball for more than 30 years. He has coached youth through high school athletes and mentored players pursuing collegiate opportunities. That same passion for leadership, teamwork, and development carries into his approach behind the mic — building conversations that inform, inspire, and connect. Angel is a 1987 graduate of Premont High School in Premont, Texas.
